Nathan Apodaca is a viral Tik Tok star who achieved fame in 2020 after amassing millions of views on a video he created skateboarding down a highway while listening to Fleetwood Mac. [2] He has 2 teenage daughters and before his fame, he was living in a trailer with no running water or electricity.[1] He had to take his skateboard to work when his car broke down, and created the video of himself skateboarding along a highway in Idaho Falls, while drinking Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice and lip synching to Fleetwood Mac's song "Dreams". [1] [3]The video and song went viral garnering over 50M views around the world and became an instant viral sensation. [4] As a result, it put Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams" back on the Billboard music charts at #1. [5] [6] Subsequently, Ocean Spray gifted Nathan a brand new 2020 Nissan Truck Frontier. [7] Nathan signed on with Alana Thompson’s (a.k.a.'Honey Boo Boo") manager, Gina Rodriguez of Gitoni Productions. [8][9]. The CEO of Ocean Spray, Tom Hayes, eventually got involved and recreated the video himself, leading to further viral fame for Nathan. [10]
