Mighty Heart is a one-eyed Canadian Colt Thoroughbred Racehorse foaled April 5, 2017 (Sire Dramedy and Dam Emma’s Bullseye).[1]. He was bred and owned by Lawrence Cordes and trained by Josie Carroll[2]. Mighty Heart is known for his victories at the 2020 Queen’s Plate and 2020 Prince of Wales Stakes, which he now has won 2 of the 3 Canadian Triple Crown races and seeks to be the first Triple Crown Victor since Wando in 2003[3]. His victory time of 2.01.98 is the Queen’s Plate second-fastest since 1957, when it moved to its current length at Woodbine Racetrack.

Mighty Heart lost his one eye during a paddock accident with his mother as a foal. His pedigree line includes Northern Dancer and Secretariat[4]
