Everybody's Got One is the second studio album by American alternative rock band Fat Tuesday, released in 1993 by Columbia Records.[1] The track High & Low received airplay across the country[2], and was called a "a sharp, catchy roots-rock track" by Billboard magazine, with "equal parts pop sensibility and noise to separate it from that genre's pack".[3]

Recording

Everybody's Got One was recorded during the late spring of 1993 in Cambridge, Massachusetts at Fort Apache when it was at its Camp Street location above the Rounder Records warehouse. Andrew Crowley performed vocals along with guitar and keyboards. Brian Timm also was on guitar with background vocals. Scott Anderson played drums. The album was created using a Neotek Elan console, recorded on a Mara Machines MCI JH24 and used a Otari 5050 as a mix deck[4]. Commenting on the recording session, lead singer Andrew Crowley recalled Fort Apache at the time as:

It was pretty bare bones over there, but they made allot of great records.[4]

Music Videos

There are two music videos created to support the album. A video for the song High & Low follows the band around the Uptown area of Minneapolis, and was directed by Phil Harder. A second video for the song Winter Storm also was created off the album, which intermingled scenes of tomato plants, a young woman in a rocking chair with a cat, and the band playing.
