Hi, I'm Margo.
I speak German and some English and Spanish, and I'm usually to be found in the Spanish-language Wikipedia. Generally I take care of the small tasks in Wikipedia, which apparently will never be completed.

My favourite website on the Internet (which unfortunately only has survived as a copy in the Internet Archive): http://web.archive.org/web/20110101132415/http://www.wearewhatwedo.org/actions/ - More than 100 simple actions for a better world.

One example of such a simple action was mentioned on the main page of the English-language Wikipedia on November 14, 2020: see Fatberg.

Another example, currently perhaps the typical one, is:

wash your hands thoroughly to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases, inluding COVID-19
(with soap, for 20 to 30 seconds, that is as long as it takes to sing "Happy Birthday to You" twice).
See also this page of the World Health Organization: https://www.who.int/teams/integrated-health-services/infection-prevention-control, archived here ("How to Handwash" in the middle / towards the end of the page).
