I'm sorry User:DGG but I'm not aware of what biography you're referring to and didn't see one searching for it on Google and elsewhere. FloridaArmy (talk) 07:48, 6 January 2021 (UTC)

Joseph Seiden (1892–1974)[1] was a filmmaker in New York City. He directed and produced numerous Yiddish films. He also directed Paradise in Harlem, a 1940 musical film with an African American cast.

Seiden amassed a collection of 40 Yiddish films which passed onto another collector, restorer, and distributor.[2] The Brooklyn Daily Eagle wrote about him and his filmmaking in 1936.[3]

His 1949 film God, Man & Devil was re-released on video in 1991.[4]

His independent films were low-budget sentimental affairs.[5]
