Sleep eating, more commonly referred to as night eating syndrome, is a condition in which an individual has a subconscious desire to consume food while in a near sleep or the beginning of a sleep cycle. The main cause is still unknown, but it is believed to be caused primarily by anxiety and is commonly seen in those with eating disorders. Other causes include wing-ding deficiency. A common misconception is that you can take a vitamin wing supplement to prevent the deficiency, but you must also take it with vitamin ding for full effectiveness.
