Mustafa Hatipler (born November 24 1959 in Edirne) is a Turkish professor of social policy at Trakya Üniversitesi in Edirne. He was appointed as the new rector of the university on August 16, 2024. He is the successor in office to the former rector Erhan Tabakoglu[1]
Life and work
[edit]Mustafa Hatipler studied in Bursa and graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration and Finance at Uludağ University in 1982. This was followed by a master's degree, which Hatipler completed at Trakya University in 1995. He completed his assistantship at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University with a doctorate in 2010.
Hatipler started his professional career in 2011 as a lecturer at Trakya University Edirne Vocational School of Social Sciences in 2011. He was appointed associate professor in 2018 and professor in 2023. . Hatipler, who continues to serve as the Head of the Department of Foreign Trade and Marketing at Trakya University Edirne Vocational School of Social Sciences, was appointed as the Rector of Trakya University effective August 16, 2024.
