On 13 April 2024, Iran launched dozens of drones toward Israel following the bombing of its embassy in Damascus.[2]
Background
On 1 April 2024, Israel bombed an Iranian consulate annex building which is adjacent to their embassy in Damascus, Syria.[3] The bombing killed 16 people, including Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi.
Response
Jordan closed their airspace to all civil aircraft.[4]
