Andrewes Hall is a theological college and seminary in Phoenix, Arizona in association with Cranmer Theological House. It was founded in 2002 and offers programs leading to the Bachelor of Theology (BTh), Master of Divinity (MDiv), Bachelor of Divinity (BD), Master of Theology (MTh). It is named for Lancelot Andrewes, and English clergyman and head of the Westminster Company, a group of scholars who translated part of the King James Bible. The school also welcomes students who do not have the intention to enroll in the degree programs.
The seminary operates under the scrutiny of the supreme authority of Holy Scripture and essentials of biblical faith and practice, in agreement with the teaching of the apostles, the church fathers, and the consensus of the undivided church. Specifically, the college affirms the 39 canonical books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament to be the limits of biblical inspiration and affirms the two sacraments as ordained by Christ Himself – Baptism and the Supper of the Lord.
