Anne J. Thayer (born April 13, 1961) is an American politician. She is a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from the 9th District, serving since 2011. She is a member of the Republican party.[1]

Political career[edit]

Thayer is Chair of the House Rules Committee.[2]

In November 2023, Thayer announced that she would not run for re-election.[3] ▪James Galyean and Blake Sanders have filed to compete in the Republican primary for the seat.[4]
