Synopsis

The film which is 39 seconds long documents one of the first known surviving footages of a football match which dates back to 1898 shows teams Blackburn Rovers F.C. and West Bromwich Albion F.C. playing a friendly match where the score ended 4-1 for the Blackburn Rovers. The match was played on Ewood Park located in Blackburn, Lancashire, England.[2][3]
