Cigaritis tavetensis, the Taveta silverline, is a butterfly in the family Lycaenidae. It is found in western Tanzania.[2] The habitat consists of savanna.

They feed on Acacia drepanolobium within galls. They are associated with ants of the genus Pheidole.
