Derek Deane is a world famous dancer and choreographer. He was born on the 18th of June 1953 and raised in Redruth in the UK. And trained in the Royel Ballet School. In his life so far he has been promoted to a: Senior Principal Dancer with The Royal Ballet Deputy Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer at Teatro dell’Opera in Rome Artistic Director of English National Ballet until 2001 [1993-2001] Artistic director of the English National Ballet.


He was awarded the OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2000 Queen's Birthday Honors List for his services to dance as artistic director of the English National Ballet in England.
