Elizabeth Tate High School is an alternative high school in Iowa City, Iowa and is part of the Iowa City Community School District. The school serves grades 9-12, and the enrollment included 143 students in the 2020-21 school year.
History
The first students attended 22 August 2005. The school was initially built for students who are "not doing as well as they should at City High and West High."[2] Currently, this also includes Liberty High School.
Athletics
Tate High School has a basketball and volleyball team. They currently do not have any athletic facilities, however, the school maintains partnerships in the community to provide students with fitness activities.[3]
