Erigeron annuus ('annual fleabane, daisy fleabane[1], or eastern daisy fleabane[2]) is a plant in the daisy family, Asteraceae.
Description and identification
Erigeron annuus is a herbaceous plant with alternate, simple leaves, and green, sparsely haired stems. The lower leaves, especially the basal leaves, are often toothed, a characteristic distinguishing it from most other Erigeron sp.[2] The flowers are white with yellow centers, born in spring through fall. [3]
