Fort Ransom State Park is a state park located in Ransom County, North Dakota. It was officially opened in the Sheyenne River Valley of North Dakota in July, 1979. It is located 3 miles north of the town of Fort Ransom, North Dakota. It is located along the Sheyenne Valley National Scenic Byways and Backways; the first route in North Dakota to be given this designation.[1]
