Freedom and Accord Party

The Hürriyet ve İtilâf Fırkası (Party of Freedom and Accord) was a liberal Ottoman political party active between 1911 and 1913, during the Second Constitutional Period. The Hürriyet ve İtilâf Fırkası was the main challenger to the Committee of Union and Progress during the 1912 elections. Notable members included Rıza Tevfik Bölükbaşı, Ali Kemal Bey, Damat Ferid Pasha and Lütfi Fikri Bey.

The party was supressed after the Bab-i Ali coup of January 1913. It was only re-established in the aftermath of the Great War. In the post-1918 Ottoman Empire, the Hürriyet ve İtilaf Party became known for its attempts to suppress the Committee of Union and Progress.
