Jacob O'Neal Latimore, Jr. (born August 10, 1996) is a RCA Records and Crown World Entertainment R&B recording artist.

The first single he recorded was "Best Friend", which made it onto Radio Disney, where he became a part of the Incubator program, which features upcoming young musicians. [1] Latimore performed on Maury , on the "Most Talented Kids" (2006) episode. Early in 2007, He and his family moved from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Atlanta, Georgia to take his career to the next level. That year, his single "Superstar" made the Billboard R&B and Hip Hop Charts.

He was signed to RCA Records in March 2010. Late 2010, Latimore released "Like 'Em All" feat. Diggy Simmons. Months later, he shot the video for the single. In 2011, Latimore released "Nothing On Me" and "Like 'Em All" (Radio Version) feat. Issa, his Crown World Entertainment and Jive Records label mate.[2][3] All three songs have made it on 106 & Park Hip-Hop and R&B Countdown.[4]

He has performed at many venues, including the House of Blues, Bradley Center, and Navy Pier.[5]

Latimore did a promo tour for his single "Nothing On Me", visiting various malls, camps and radio stations to promote the single. The promo tour ended July 30, 2011.[6][7]

He is featured on the 2011 Scream Tour "The Next Generation" headlined by Mindless Behavior, and Diggy Simmons.

Acting

Latimore appeared in the movie Vanishing 7th Street, a post-apocalyptic thriller. One film critic gave this review of his performance in the film: "audiences are treated to newcomer Jacob Latimore, who is nothing short of fantastic. In bringing both bravery and vulnerability to the role of a suddenly orphaned twelve year old, Latimore is in many ways the true hero of the film."[8]

He has appeared in episodes of Tyler Perry's House of Payne, One Tree Hill and the new BET sitcom Reed Between The Lines.[9] He has also guest starred on the Disney Channel show So Random!.

BET announced a spin-off for the new original series where Latimore is scheduled as the main character. The show Young Man On Campus is set to air in 2012.

Latimore has cited Usher, Omarion,Chris Brown, Michael Jackson, Mario,and The Temptations as influences. He also stated on many of his YouTube videos that anyone in the world living their dream inspires him.[10][11]
