The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 is set to be the 21st edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Provisional list of participating countries
As of December 2022,[update] the following countries have confirmed their intention to participate in the 2023 contest.
Other countries
For a country to be eligible for potential participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, it needs to be an active member of the EBU.[3]
Active EBU members
- Germany – In December 2022, the German television channel KiKa has stated on its FAQ page that it is planning to participate in 2023.[4]
- Spain – In November 2022, Spanish broadcaster Televisión Española stated it would regularly participate in future Junior Eurovision editions.[5]
- United Kingdom – In November 2022, Lee Smithurst stated that the 2022 United Kingdom participation would not be a one-off.[6]
