Lauvdal is a village in Bygland along Riksvei 9 on the east of Byglandsfjorden in Aust-Agder. The village lies 6 km south of Bygland centre. Lauvdal lies to the south of the fjord, and is a priority cultural landscape in Bygland municipality. Many historical artefacts have been found here from the past. Among others, a spear with a silver tip has been found. This was sent to a museum in Oslo.

Previously, there were cows and pigs in the area, but today there are only two farms.

Hagen Crofter's Cottage

In the north of Lauvdal is the Hagen crofter's cottage. This was occupied until the 1960s and has lain unused since then. It is now part of the Setesdalsmuseet's buildings. It lies on the same street.
