Mikayel Varandian (Hovhannisian, 1870, Shusha, Russian Empire - 1934, France) was an Armenian historian.

He studied at Geneva University, where he met Kristapor Mikaelian and Rostom, since 1898 he was one of the main contributors of Droshak Journal. Since 1907 he was the Representative of ARF at the Second International, contacted with the European socialists. He is the author of "The History of ARF" (Vol. 1 and 2) research.
