Nora Vagi Brash (December 14, 1944 – April 23, 2024) CMG OBE was a playwright and author from Papau New Guinea.

Nora Vagi Brash was born on December 14, 1944 in Dagoda, Central Province, Papua New Guinea.

Nora Vagi Brash died on 23 April 2024 in Port Moresby General Hospital.[1]

Awards and honors

Nora Vagi Brash was named Officer of the Order of the British Empire in 2007 "for services to the arts and education"[2] and awarded the Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George in 2018 "for service to the community through active promotion of local culture and heritage in her roles as author, playwright, and poet".[3][4]
