', who also goes by the name Toshin in Japanese and known as The God of Fighting by the ancient Aztecs, is the main Antagonist of Tekken 3 .He is a mysterious giant immortal humanoid creature that was described as a weapon left upon by the aliens during ancient times.

In video games
He was first mentioned in Heihachi Mishima's character profile. Heihachi sent his own military force, Tekken Force to search an ancient Aztec temple located somewhere in Mexico. Soon after arriving there, Heihachi learned that his entire force had been obliterated by Ogre. Heihachi, having witnessed the power of Ogre, sought to capture him in hopes of creating the ultimate life form. According to official canon, Ogre attacked many world-renowned martial arts masters around the world. One of his victim is Jun Kazama, the mother of the then-fifteen year old Jin. Eventually, Heihachi announced the King of Iron Fist Tournament 3 in order to lure Ogre out. Ogre was thought to be defeated by Paul Phoenix during the final phase of the tournament. However, he soon transforms into a more powerful being that resembles a chimera called True Ogre. Still, he is defeated, this time by Jin Kazama and he dissolves into dust. He appears briefly in Tekken 4 during Heihachi's prologue. It is explained that Heihachi have prepared to inject Ogre's blood into his own body to make himself immortal. However, the blood requires a special gene called "Devil Gene". As Heihachi did not possess it, he announces the King of Iron First Tournament 4 in order to capture both his son and grandson (Kazuya and Jin) as they possess it. Ogre makes appearance as a boss in the Devil Within mini-game in Tekken 5, where he was apparently resurrected by the G Corporation. In this game, he is able to transform into a more powerful version called Monstrous Ogre.

Other appearances
Ogre also appears in Namco X Capcom in its first form as a boss.
Both Ogre forms also re-appear in the non-canonical Tekken Tag Tournament as well as its sequel Tekken Tag Tournament 2 where his True form serves as the Stage 8 sub-boss and his Ancient form appears as downloadable content for the console version. His ancient form also appears in Street Fighter X Tekken, where he is one of the bosses (alongside Akuma).

Gameplay
Ogre's fighting style is mostly a combination of moves from other Tekken characters, who did not appear in Tekken 3. Anna Williams seems to be the sole exception. This is because he was not featured in the arcade version of game, thus justifying Ogre's use of her moves, however, why he is later featured in the console version is unknown. Because Ogre "stole" most of his techniques, he is the only character with no string-combo, other than Gon.

Creation and design
Ogre's first (Ancient) form resembles a tall, muscular humanoid with dark green skin. He wears various types of Aztec jewelry and a large golden helmet/headdress with long orange hair. He also has a small round shield attached to his left arm.

Ogre's second (True) form, stands not much taller than its first, but is hunched over to an extent. In this incarnation he barely resembles a human, with a large frame, dark brown fur, a monstrous face, a tail, wings, horns, and a snake in place of a right arm. All of the jewelry Ogre wore in his previous form disappear, save for one leg armlet. Also, in this form, the area surrounding him will become pitch black (in Tekken 3), or extremely dark (in the arcade version of Tekken Tag Tournament). Ogre's third form (from Tekken 5's Devil Within mode) is less of a drastic change from his first to second, but is much larger overall, appearing to be several stories high. In this form he has a golden and aqua color, and more closely resembles a large dragon or dinosaur. He features many more horns aligning his limbs and elongated head, and also has four large spikes protruding from the sides of his mouth. It is still unknown whether the events in Devil Within are canon or not.

Reception
Although Ogre appears to be a wild beast, he is actually a sentient being. Very little information is given on the character's personality or story, but what it does describe says that Ogre "understands entire structures of all living and artificial beings, and absorbs them". In his first form, Ogre is capable of speech (as seen in his winning animations), but speaks in an unknown alien language. In Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (as True Ogre), it was revealed that he is shown to have a predatorial instinct as seen in his continue cutscene after the player losing from on Stage 8.
