Oscar Stembridge (c. 2008) is a music singer-songwriter and climate activist from Sweden.
Career
Oscar Stembridge was born (c. 2008) and he is a singer-songwriter from Sweden and he is the youngest person ever signed to a recording contract by Universal Music Sweden.[1] He was ten-years-old when he was signed.[2][3] In 2022 he became the youngest winner of the Rookie Artist of the Year award at the Sweden Pop Awards. He is active in the climate movement and plays his music at climate protest rallies. He stated, "I am a climate activist and am very vocal about that".[4][5]
Stembridge is a multi-instrumentalist, he plays guitar, piano, drums and ukulele.[6] When he was eleven-years-old he was invited to perform at Allsång på Skansen.[7]
He writes songs about climate activism. He wrote the song "We march" which he refers to as a "climate song". He performed the song at many climate related demonstrations and protests including, Denmark, Malmö and Stockholm. He followed with a second song about climate activism titled, "Don't Lie to Me".[8]
