Hamduna (Turkish: Kurukavak, Kurmanji: Hemdûna) is a Yazidi village located in the Beşiri district of the Batman Province in southeastern Turkey. The village is located ca. 26 kilometres (16 mi) southeast of Beşiri in southeastern Anatolia.[2][3][4][5]

Hamduna is today mostly an abandoned Yazidi village. The village had exclusively Yazidi population. Almost all Yazidis from Turkey have fled, especially to Germany, because they were oppressed and expelled by the Kurds and Turks.[4][6]
