Paris Hilton Responds to John McCain Ad is a viral video directed by Adam McKay, making fun of a television commercial by candidate John McCain during the 2008 U.S. presidential election campaign, in which entrepreneur, actress and singer Paris Hilton announces the Paris Hilton Energy Plan a supposed policy position that takes the best elements of the energy policy proposals of McCain and his rival Barack Obama.
Viral video
On August 6, 2008, Paris Hilton responded to John McCain's anti-Obama campaign ad titled "Celeb,"[1], in which McCain alleged Obama to be a celebrity akin to Britney Spears and Hilton, by declaring her own candidacy on Will Ferrell's funnyordie.com. In her video,[2] she explains her stance on foreign oil dependency, concluding her declaration by saying "I'll see you at the debates, bitches."[3] Within the first three hours of being posted, the video had already garnered 400,000 views.[4]
Text of Hilton's proposal
We can do limited offshore drilling with strict environmental oversight while creating tax incentives to get Detroit making hybrid and electric cars.
