Reñaca is a region recognized for its beaches and resorts in the Valparaiso Region of Chile. The city of Reñaca is positioned on the coast, close to the city of Viña del Mar. These two cities are linked by Avenida Borgoño, a lengthy coastal road. Reñaca primarily caters to the upper-middle class as a residential area, offering a coastal lifestyle with various amenities and recreational options.
Overview
Reñaca is located at the northernmost extreme of the city of Viña del Mar and has been incorporated by it. The beach of Cochoa and the town of Concón are located to the north along the coast road. The lower part of the hill overlooking the beach is covered with residential buildings. The town also extends eastward up the valley through which the Estero de Reñaca flows, where the majority of the year-round population lives.
