List of episodes

The seventh and final season of the American police procedural television series S.W.A.T. is set to premiere on CBS on February 16, 2024,[1] with a total of 13 episodes. S.W.A.T. follows an elite Special Weapons and Tactics unit of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The series was originally cancelled by CBS after six seasons on May 5, 2023.[2][3] However, three days later, on May 8, CBS and Sony reached a new agreement to renew the series for a seventh and final season.[4] The season was impacted by both the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike and 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike.[5]

Production

On May 5, 2023, S.W.A.T. was cancelled after 6 seasons.[8] On May 8, 2023, CBS reversed their cancelation by renewing S.W.A.T. for a seventh and final season of 13 episodes.[4][9]

Production on the season was delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes in the United States.[10]

On January 25, 2024, it was announced that Anna Enger Ritch, after recurring for the past two seasons, would be upgraded to a regular for the final season.
