Shivani Pawar ( Indian Wrestler ) is an Indian Wrestler from Umreth Village,Chhindwara District,Madhya Pradesh,India. She stared her interest in sports by playing football and later moved to Wrestling. She won silver medal in 50 kg category in the Under 23 Woman Wrestling Championship held in Belgrade,Serbia.

Shivani Pawar is a resident of Umreth Village in Chhindwara District,Madhya Pradesh, and her parents are farmers. [1]

Career

Shivani Pawar became the first woman from India to win a silver in U23 World Wrestling Championships 2021 held in Belgrade, Serbia. [2][3] She also won gold medal in the 50 kg category during the World Police and Fire Games organised in Canada. In the Asian Wrestling Championship 2024 she won bronze in the 50 Kg category. [4] She also reached to the finals of the women's 50 kg division in the U-23 World Championships held in Belgrade in 2021. [5][6][7]

Shivani Pawar started her career by playing football and later moved to wrestling. [8]
