English local elections

Is there a reason for this article being called "2024 United Kingdom local elections" instead of "2024 English local elections", there are only 'local' elections in England not accross the whole of the UK LandmarkFilly54 (talk) 12:25, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There are PCC elections in Wales, and the YYYY United Kingdom local elections article series is a well-established framework for local elections occurring in whichever parts of the UK are holding them in that year. Ralbegen (talk) 14:02, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Someone started a section for local by elections being held on the same day in councils not up this year and it was deleted. What is wrong with including this section? (talk)
