Conflict of interest, advert, etc.

It turns out that this article was basically written by an IUBS employee in 2011 (See Special:Diff/407641665), and has barely changed since. It's no wonder it reads like an advert for the organisation, what with puffery language such as "identify[ing] promising areas of biological science" etc., and the article having to tell us that it is "non-profit and does not pursue economic goals"?? Monster Iestyn hmmm I would help but am no better as I am a member. In looking through it it is relatively accurate. I can probably point to some sources for someone else to try fix it but its better if I do not edit it myself. Cheers Scott Thomson (Faendalimas) talk 08:59, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
