Usage

This template provides a standardized inline reference for the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage PDFs as a source. Template syntax is as follows:

{{ARLHref|version=PDF version|dateform=format|accessdate=date|page=page|pages=pages|quote=quote}}

In order for this to show up in a page's reference list, the template must be wrapped in <ref></ref> tags.

The most recent version can be added using this code:

<ref>{{ARLHref|version=202403|accessdate=April 19, 2024}}</ref>

PDF versions

There are several acceptable values for the |version= parameter, representing specific versions of the ARLH PDFs:

• 202403: Released March 12, 2024
• 202304: Released April 7, 2023
• 201808: Released August 20, 2018
• 201406: Released June 13, 2014
• 201402: Released February 24, 2014
• 201306: Released June 21, 2013
• 201304: Released April 1, 2013
• 201209: Released September 17, 2012
• 201208: Released August 1, 2012
• 201204: Released April 4, 2012
• 201112: Released December 15, 2011
• 201108: Released August 25, 2011
• 201105: Released May 31, 2011

Optional parameters

• |dateform= - Setting this to "dmy" gives 1 April 2013, both "ymd" and "iso" give 2013-04-01, "mdy" or no entry give the default April 1, 2013
• |accessdate= - Set this to the date on which the PDF was accessed
• |page= or |pages= - Shows the page or pages being referenced
• |quote= - Allows entry of a quote from the PDF
