I would like to find out what consensus there is on a preferred imaged to be displayed on this template. There seems to be three four options, but feel free to suggest others, e.g. a map (although I haven't found any suitable)

Please bear in mind what they might look like at 50 pixels wide. Note also the use of the shield in the French version.

Well, in everyday life, I only see nb 3, but it won't be readable at 50px, and it's more the conseil regional's logo than the region's logo. Nb 4 is too vague I think.
So maybe 1 or 2 are the least bad choices.
