he Mariposa Trust is a charity and company limited by guarantee, both registered in England and Wales numbers 1151108 and 8241785.
The organisation was founded by Zoe and Andy Clark-Coates, who after losing 5 babies themselves to miscarriage and missed miscarriage, wanted to use their experience to help others. It officially launched in August 2012, following many months of behind the scenes work, and became a charity in March 2013. The primary aim of the charity is to support people who have suffered the loss of a baby at any stage of pregnancy, at birth or in infancy.
