Hello! I have been an avid follower of Wikipedia and Wikipedians for years, yet as you can see from my contributions I am not a very active participant in the Wikipedia project.
Lately, I have become interested in the informal rewards that Wikipedians bestow upon one another. These are a nice way to acknowledge the hard work and effort that goes into making Wikipedia. Yet it also seems like the efforts of users who contribute modest amounts of work to the project are under-appreciated.
To address this situation, I have decided to award some barnstars to users whose contributions to Wikipedia are valuable but might otherwise go unnoticed.
