Seattle Information Technology Department (Seattle IT) is a municipal government agency in Seattle, Washington.

History

The Seattle Information Technology Department was formed in August 1999[1]. The first Chief Technology Officer was Edward Hatler, after council member Tina Podlodowski pushed to create the position.[2] Followed by Lynn Jacobs[3].Marty Chakoian took her place, but retired on July 5th, 2002[4].
