I'm not sure if you're affiliated with http://www.pprize.com, but I have seen that you are adding it as external links to many of the Pulitzer winning novels. Although I'm concerned that it seems more of a fansite than an official one, it is still very interesting, and strangely enough, helpful! I've added a few images of the first editions of the books to the infobox, but some of them are quite elusive; there are so many covers that it is difficult to tell which is the first edition. Now that I know what to look for, it makes finding fair use images on Amazon and similar sites much, much easier. Just wanted to throw a thank you your way, but do keep in mind that the reliability of the website may be called into question by those who are more strict. María: (habla conmigo) 18:18, 4 April 2007 (UTC) |

Thank you for your kind words. www.pprize.com is my site, and I built it for two reasons. First I have been collecting Pulitzers for years and I wanted to share with people information I have accumulated about these books - information that is not available anywhere else. You should know that I do very thorough research on every book reference I put up, so I think the information is very reliable. The second reason I built the site is that I wanted some experience building a web site, so I built all of the databases and wrote all of the program code. |

People have found the site so useful that I made a more general website for all modern first editions. The site is called www.mansionbooks.com and I only have about 50 entries so far. One of them is Lovely Bones. Unfortunatly I put the wrong URL when I entered the external link. If you are still interested, the actual URL for Lovely Bones first edition points and photos is: |
