Information icon Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to Book of Nahum. As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on strong national ties to the topic. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates.

For more information about how dates should be written on Wikipedia, please see this page.

If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Enjoy your time on Wikipedia. Please see WP:ERA Sir Joseph (talk) 22:35, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Joseph, I correct the changes you made: you changed the original text that was using BC and AD without justification. I kindly ask you to maintain as stated in the Wikipedia MOS. Thanks. Cgranadobr (talk) 00:40, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I just notice you changed it again not following the Wikipedia MOS. I kindly ask you to reverse the changes and keep the predominantly format that was BC and AD to refer to dates, and not BCE and CE. Thanks. Cgranadobr (talk) 00:44, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Sir Joseph, you kept the era dates in the format of BCE/CE, and the article was written originally using BC/AD. Unless you provide a reason based on Wikipedia rules, I'll change it to the original era date format, BC and AD. Additionally, you classified my change as "vandalism". So, based on the WK rules (MOS and even the article talk page), you have committed vandalism. Therefore, I kindly request you to either provide a reason OR move back to the original era date format (BC/AD). Cgranadobr (talk) 20:40, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As I said, please see WP:ERA. Sir Joseph (talk) 01:27, 11 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
