Note: If you are here to leave personal attacks, false accusations of vandalism, a long tirade about why your cat photo or article about yourself should be left alone as you and only you wanted, nonsensical rationalizations of why vampires, ancient astronauts, werewolves, "creation science" and so on should be treated as completely real and so forth, do not bother, as I'll either just remove them right away or simply point you to the appropriate Wikipedia policy which you should have read in the first place.

Jack the Ripper edits

I realize that you appear to be frustrated with the state of the article, but could I appeal to you to perhaps exercise a bit less edginess in your edit summaries? I have frequently found that while I am fully capable of reducing editors to weeping blobs of jello solely through my acerbic wit, it doesn't really help the process of editing along. You will note that, in my own edits in this article, I have asked for discussion to take place before proposed changes are made to this fairly controversial article. I would very much hope that you could take the time to share your insight on the Discussion page as to the reasoning behind your edits before making them, and allow your fellow editors to ask questions about them. Funny, you claim to ask for discussion before changes are made yet merrily revert to a new version against the longstanding consensus version despite the fact that the discussion shows that those edits are controversial. If you actually followed your own advice you would not be taking the actions you have been, which leads me to surmise that your claims are less than genuine. I, of course, have added my comments to the discussion, both in edit comments and the talk page, and these match with previous discussions held there which you seemingly wish to ignore completely for reasons unknown.

I also think you vastly overestimate your level of wit. Please try to keep things grounded in reality here instead of discussing your own self-perceived abilities, which are not relevant. DreamGuy 20:18, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
