Orphaned non-free media (File:Gsp-undisputed-ps3.jpg)

Thanks for uploading File:Gsp-undisputed-ps3.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:32, 30 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Template:2009 NL East standings

Hello and welcome to the project! Just a heads-up: when updating the baseball standings templates, current convention prefers that the "½" character (from the selection toolbox, "Symbols" section) be used rather than the decimal ".5" for half-games. Thanks! KV5 (TalkPhils) 18:23, 2 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Penn/Florian at UFC 101

I re-added this to the main card. Even though the fight card on UFC.com doesn't have the bout, the reference is a news story on UFC.com stating that Penn/Florian is the headliner. To me this is acceptable. I'm just not sure if you looked where the ref was pointing or not. Thoughts? --Drr-darkomen (talk) 17:22, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've read several times that the UFC has a sort of unofficial policy that if there is a title fight on a card it is always going to be the main event. You have to promote your champions. Which is why we end up with some crappy main events like Silva/Leites. --Drr-darkomen (talk) 17:48, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 17:52, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

UFN 19

Kinda odd removing a sourced (mmafrenzy and mmajunkie) date and venue for a TBD don't you think? --Drr-darkomen (talk) 21:35, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That's interesting. I've been speculating that UFC 19 in August got scrapped when they decided to go with 2 PPV that month but hadn't seen anything about it. Another oddity is if they are waiting until September to do 19 they are behind last year's schedule of Fight Nights. They did 5 Fight nights last year, at this pace they will likely only do 4 this year. At any rate... who knows? --Drr-darkomen (talk) 22:26, 13 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

MTV Movie Vandals

Just go with it for now, and report them sometime either during or afterwards. Socby19 (talk) 01:47, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg

You know that you are an ass right? First you say that it's not good enough because I don't have anything from junkie. Then I get something from them and now it's not good because it's not from Strikeforce.com. I'll just laugh in your face when they announce all of the matchups in a day or two. All we are doing is robbing the MMA fans of knowledge and you are the ONLY person who seems to not want to put Overeem on there. The card is going to be on Showtime for crying out loud, I'm pretty sure they are as credible as it gets.

If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Tuoppi gm (talk) 12:12, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

UFC 103

When it's something that is obviously that far out there (i.e. not even mentioned as a rumor at unreliable rumor sites) I assume it has to be pure childish vandalism. --Drr-darkomen (talk) 21:26, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wow... it's actually up on UFC.com (news section). Can't believe they kept that under wraps. --Drr-darkomen (talk) 21:41, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't get Franklin-Belfort at 205. Franklin wants to move on at 205 and Belfort wants to move on at 185. Seems like Rich is the UFC whipping boy. He fought Henderson at 205 for implications at 185 as well. It seems even though he has moved to LightHeavy that they treat him as "The best Middleweight not named Anderson Silva". --Drr-darkomen (talk) 21:25, 31 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Strikeforce

Input please: Talk:Strikeforce:_Carano_vs._Cyborg#Which_fightcard_should_take_precedence.3F --Drr-darkomen (talk) 21:32, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

An editor that expressed concerns before now completely ignores the sources and wants to say which sources are valid and which isn't. This in no way helps with the wiki article. Please have a say here:Talk:Strikeforce Sea888 (talk) 23:58, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
