''(It is not without fall create garbage writing not necessary information)''

I don't understand why adding the line to the services is garbage. The line is buried in the link to station articles, so I was helping newbies who don't know much about the system by adding the line information.

Please enlighten me. [[User:Acps110|Acps110]] ([[User talk:Acps110|talk]]) 00:51, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

bRd: Most Interested Person

Hello. I have identified you as a "Most Interested Person" within the context of the WP:BRD process. The MIP identification arises from this edit that I entered to the Barack Obama article on Friday, and subsequent edits (in which you participated) that resulted in the restoration of the Barack Obama#Cultural and political image section I'd boldly removed. This places you and me at the middle of the BRD flow chart pictured here. See also this discussion I recently concluded with another editor who participated in Friday's edits to the article. I would welcome the chance to discuss your revert and to seek a mutually agreeable compromise solution. --HailFire (talk) 23:03, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your input requested

Hi. A proposal on the re-creation of WP:RUSSIA is currently underway at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Russia/Proposal. One of the main points is that we should have workgroups covering different topics. We are trying to ascertain the interest of editors in various workgroups under WP:RUSSIA, such as history, politics, biographical, etc; as your userpage indicates you are Russian or live in Russia, perhaps you can take a read of the proposal, comment on it wherever you have thoughts, and perhaps provide details of any Russian topics you may be interested and are willing to collaborate with other editors on? Your input is valued. Cheers. --Russavia Dialogue Stalk me 20:32, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Linking to sections of NYC Subway complexes

Hi,

I noticed you have been re-linking some of the station complexes in the service articles. The best way to link is to link like it's not a station complex, eg. 168th Street (IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line). Each station should already be a redirect and that will take you directly to the appropriate section on the station complex page. Acps110 (talk) 00:29, 27 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What's happening? Care to respond? The reason these articles are linked this way is if the station complex article structure changes. Then only the redirect needs to be changed not EVERY article that links to the complex. Acps110 (talk) 01:11, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Please read Usage of naming convention for the project. The point I'm trying to make is to use the template, Station Name (Line) when linking to a station regardless of whether it is a station or station complex. I spent far too long on Monday fixing many links to South Ferry (New York City Subway). If all of those had pointed to South Ferry (IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line), I could have fixed it one place. (the redirect) If you find a redirect that doesn't link directly to the proper section on the station complex page by all means fix it. However, please stop linking a station complex differently than a station. It makes changes like merging or service changes (such as on Monday) very difficult. What's in a name...

R160B W 9089 at South Ferry
R160B W 9091 at South Ferry

aka Whitehall Street. Acps110 (talk) 22:15, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
