:::Hi again @[[User:Krodamai|Krodamai]] - In light of your response above, I was wondering if any of the following would align to change your determination that any article about the X-League should consider it to be a rebrand of the LFL.
:::*Sources that show that Mitch Mortaza is not the CEO of the X-League, but a paid advisor due to his past experience with the LFL.
:::*Documentation that the LFL still exists and operates independently, if on a limited basis. (There are no regular season games, but All-Star games are in the works)
:::*Documentation that show the X-League was founded and began operation well in advance of Mortaza taking on the advisory role.

:::Thanks and please let me know your thoughts when you can. I don't want to take up too much of your time on this and I appreciate the feedback. Give your experience with this subject on Wikipedia, I suspect anyone else I ask to review would defer to your opinion, so thanks again for the help. Disambiguation link notification for November 25[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of female American football players, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages American Association and IWFL. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Seeking input on women's football article error[edit]

Hi @Krodamai. I was hoping you could take a few minutes to weigh in on an edit suggestion I'm making for the X League (women's football) article. Full disclosure, I am a connected editor and I have placed my COI tag on the article's talk page. I have a case for splitting the article posted to the talk page, but I can summarize things for you here.

The article posits that the Extreme Football League (X-League) is a rebrand of the Legends Football League (previously the Lingerie Football League). I'm making the point the the X-League is a completely different league and business, as evidenced by the continued existence of the Legends League. I think this error an be resolved by splitting the article, but would love to hear your opinion since this subject is core to what you do here.

Thanks for your time and please feel free to let me know if you have any questions. SBCornelius (talk) 17:05, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @SBCornelius
Can you show that the Legends Football League still exists, operating separately from The X League? It is my understanding that the Legends Football League ceased operations in 2019.
The X League’s CEO is Mitch Mortaza, who owned the LFL. I am of the opinion that it is fair to characterize The X League as a rebranding of the LFL.
However, I think the question of whether The X League should have a separate Wikipedia entry is a different one altogether, having more to do with conventional practices on Wikipedia.
I am personally not against a separate Wikipedia entry for The X League, but I would expect that entry to list the LFL as a predecessor league in it’s history section.
i hope this gives you some perspective on how to move forward. Krodamai (talk) 22:41, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
