The standard is to write dispassionately without adding emotional language. Also, everything you write on wikipedia can be edited freely by other people when appropriate, so it is not really your narrative anyway, although I completely understand why you would feel attached to it. I removed the word "dismal" from the article in question, because I felt it was inconsistent with Wikipedia's encyclopedic tone, which is dispassionate. I already know your response was to the article and not to the talk page! My question for you was and is: Why did you respond to the article and not recognize the emotional issue presented on your talk page about the article. Even failures at clerical work have their hard moments.
