* '''Comment''' I just had this user template me with "The recent edit you made to [[Pop culture influenced by Sesame Street]] has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive" with no explanation as to *why* this user considers this edit not to be valid -- an abuse of a template which likely was originally intended only for clear-cut deliberate vandalism. Original edit was to verify a claim that individual PBS stations had been using "One Sesame Street" or similar street addresses (I checked the individual station website for every station named, [[WCFE-TV]] is indeed using the address, the others named appear not to be currently doing so, and I therefore updated the page to reflect this. I presume the stations themselves are [[WP:RS]] in this.) Recently you flagged a unconstructive edit to a wiki page about a television show. The edit supposedly came from my IP. I got a message when I went on wikipedia today about it. Here's the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:173.89.4.193&redirect=no The thing is, no one in my household made the edit, and now I am worried about the security on my network. I was wondering if you know if there is a known issue that would explain this. I know it wasn't just my IP changing because I host a website and if my IP changed it would disrupt my services. I'm not used to talking over wiki so if you could respond by email that would be great, unless you know that I will get a new message notification through wikipedia when it reads my ip. Anyways, my email is matt att halenka dotcom. I deliberitely wrote my email strangely to fool spambots. Hope it works! Thanks. |
