Season 1883–84 was the eleventh Scottish football season in which Kilmarnock competed at a national level, entering the inaugural Scottish Cup.

Overview

Kilmarnock entered the inaugural Scottish Cup, the first round was a walkover win against Kilbernie. They then won 3-0 against Hurlford. In the third round, the first game against Thornliebank was declared void, despite Thornliebank winning 1-0 and the game was replayed. In the replay, Thornliebank won again, winning 2-1.
