The 1971 Cork Senior Hurling Championship was the 83rd staging of the Cork Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Cork County Board in 1887. The championship ended on 3 October 1971.

University College Cork were the defending champions.

On 3 October 1971, Blackrock won the championship following a 2-19 to 5-4 defeat of St. Finbarr's in the final. This was their 24th championship title, their first in 10 years.[1]
