The 1991–92 Courage League National Division One was the fourth season of the first tier of the English league system, currently known as the Gallagher Premiership. Bath were the defending champions while new teams included Rugby Lions and London Irish who were promoted from the 1990–91 Courage League National Division Two. Each team played each other once.

Bath were the champions, winning their third title, beating Orrell by one point, while Nottingham and Rosslyn Park were the relegated sides.[1]
