At approximately 11:57 pm on November 19, 2022, at least five people were killed and eighteen injured in a mass shooting in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The suspected shooter was injured and taken to a local hospital.[1] The shooting occurred at a gay bar named Club Q.[2][3][4] Colorado Springs Police stated that a "suspect is being treated, but is in custody."[4]

According to a statement by the club on social media, it was the "quick reactions of heroic customers that subdued the gunman." The club stated it was "devastated" by the attack, and offered condolences to the victims and their families.[4][5]
