2355 Nei Monggol (1978 UV1) is a main-belt asteroid. Discovered 1978 Oct. 30 at the Purple Mountain Observatory. Named for an autonomous region, also known as Inner Mongolia, on the northern border of China, noted for its extensive prairie lands.
