The 3rd Field Regiment Royal New Zealand Artillery was a New Zealand Army artillery regiment. It was formed in 1940 and disbanded in 1990. It was formed in 1940 through the amalgamation of the field artillery batteries in Dunedin and Christchurch, and tasked with training reinforcements for the 2nd and 3rd NZ Divisions.

After the Second World War it became one of the earmarked artillery regiments for the putative 3rd New Zealand Expeditionary Force.
